4. The piano part finishes P 0 long before the voice finishes I 0, so the piano presents RI 0 from measures 5-9 (remember that retrograde forms use ordinal numbers in reverse). Notice that the two parts "share" an A in measure 7 beat 3.

The voice part still has about two more measures to finish I 0, so it is likely that the piano will present yet another row form. The problem is that there is no row form available beginning on the first available pitch: C#. It turns out that the new row begins with the last three pitches of RI 0, found on beat one of measure 9. Go to next page for the answer.
