This Holiday Music Corpus consists of all songs which have appeared on Billboard's Holiday 100 chart, which has tracked holiday music since December 2011 (though Billboard only charted the top 50 until December 2013). Rankings are from Billboard's online chart listing. Track length is drawn from Spotify, and other information is culled from various online sources (primarily Wikipedia). The database can be downloaded in SQL format here.
The current list of songs, which defaults to all songs in the database, is shown on the left. Click on one of the song titles to see detailed information on the song in the main area. Hold the shift key while clicking on a song title to select multiple songs at once.
The list can be narrowed down in two ways: using the Simple Search field at the top, which searches the song titles and musical acts; or using the Advanced Search, which allows a complex search of many aspects of the database.
Most importantly: this site is a labor of love and a quickly-thrown-together, very-much-in-process hack! There are very likely many errors in the database and the interface has a lot of room for improvement (for example, don't even try to view it on mobile). Having said that, I welcome any and all suggestions for improvement and corrections to errors in the database via email.
